I´m having a 1600GT rebuilt at Wooden Wonders. I haven´t yet made up my mind about the wheel size. I want to go for the classic look, so no low profiles for
me. In that case, 13" wheels seem to fill out the front arches nicely. However, for the rear axle, 14" seems more appropriate. Has anyone
experimented with different wheel sizes at the front and the rear? Does it have any adverse implications for roadholding and handling?

I have also been VERY disappointed in the selection of available 13" tyres.

I also have to find a way to deal with the differing bolt circle of the Marcos/TR and Alfa suspensions.

My 1600 GT came with a laughable little roll-over bar. It's a simple curved bit of tubing, which is screwed onto the rear sill below the window. On a wood

put in? It is cute, I think I will put it back in place, even though I know it's useless.
