With more than a little sadness, we're selling our Marcos. We've been running a new Ginetta G50 in Britcar and it's proving to be a good development platform. However, funds are not bottomless, which means that something's got to give. So, we're selling her after 4 terrific, and successful, years.

First race he had technical problems and was a DNF.

So it seems, that he can win the championship of the DSCC with his Marcos.

Im wondering if someone more knowlegable in the race scene may be able to help?

We have been looking into the possibility of doing a bit of historic racing and similar once the restoration of our 1967 GT is complete, however whats involved? is there an idiots guide somewhere?

The main points im after are:-
Would our car be elligible, whats stipulations are there?
What spec. i.e. standard only, or what modifications or deviations are allowed?

Looks like the Jemco Marcos didn't get too far (16 laps), and of the 4 Marcos cars that finished the best was the Topcat GT3 which was 15th out of 31 finishers. The others are at the back of the pack.

I didn't find any Britcar results on the web yesterday, but did find these pictures which show a Marcos and it looks like snow or sleet - it must have been awful driving, and even worse spectating.Britcar pics
